The Ultimate Brake System (UBS™) uses an adjustable centrifugal brake teamed with an adjustable magnetic brake for a wide range of spool-control settings. A one-way clutch, instant anti-reverse bearing helps prevent backlash. The frame and sideplate are lightweight aluminum, as is the machined, ported and double-anodized spool. An aircraft-grade aluminum main gear and brass pinion gear and nine double-shielded stainless steel ball bearings ensure pleasurable retrieves. The Summit has a multidisc main-gear applied drag system with audible star adjustment. Dual soft-touch knobs. Friction-free titanium line guide.
